Made, tested and shipped are not interchangeable

Attach each location claim to the specific step it describes.

Manufacturing location

Ask which entity performed the relevant production step and which facility record identifies it. A distributor’s address, domestic business registration or product label alone does not establish the complete manufacturing chain.

Testing location

An original laboratory report identifies an analytical observation about a sample. It may help establish who tested that sample, when and by which method. It does not automatically identify the material’s manufacturer or prove origin.

Dispatch location

Shipping documentation describes fulfillment. An order can be dispatched domestically without being manufactured there. A carrier scan is not an analytical identity result.

One material, three separate fields

For each supplier, record manufacture, test and dispatch claims separately. Attach the relevant original document and keep any unsupported step marked unverified.
